About Erin

I’m a Seattle transplant, having moved here from South Carolina to pursue a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School, graduating in 2011. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of WA. Though I miss certain things about the South, I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest in all its culture and natural beauty. I’m a former college athlete who carries a deep love of sports and teams. The way I work and think about psychotherapy has been influenced by my colleagues, coaches, teachers, family, my own therapeutic journey…basically many relationships and life experiences! I’m Co-President of the Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study and a Board Member of the International Forum for Psychoanalytic Education. Since graduating with my Master’s, I’ve worked in a wide range of mental health settings with both men and women, and have been in private practice since 2013.

I received a Certificate of Completion in MDMA Assisted Psychotherapy through the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). This training has equipped me to help clients who are using psychedelic medicines on their own integrate their experiences from a harm reduction approach. I also have training and experience in ketamine assisted therapy, and am able to help clients with integration who are receiving ketamine treatments. Additionally, I’m a member of the American Psychedelic Practitioners Association.
